Governor Lamont says Connecticut’s severe cold weather protocol will remain active an additional day through noon on Monday. The protocol took effect December 29th. Forecasters say below normal temperatures will settled in Sunday night into early Monday. The order enables state agencies and municipalities to coordinate with shelters in helping to protect people, especially the elderly from the cold weather.
