(Cromwell, Conn./WTIC) - Top-ranked Dustin Johnson will be back in Cromwell this summer to defend his Travelers Championship title.

Johnson will turn 36 the week of the tournament at the TPC River Highlands in June.

Grubbe says they're "thrilled" to have Johnson back for a chance to defend his title.

Johnson captured last year's event after erasing a two-shot deficit to outpoint Kevin Steelman by one shot.

The victory gave Johnson at least one win in all 13 of his PGA seasons.

He is a 24-time winner on the tour, including his record setting performance last November at Augusta National to win The Masters.

The 2021 Travelers Championship runs from June 21-27.
