Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - A dozen people were driven from their homes by an early Monday morning fire in Hartford.
Firefighters got the call around 1:45 a.m. to the wood frame, multi-family structure on Douglas Street.
They found fire on a third floor cockloft, fire officials said.
Seven adults and five children were able to make it out and the fire department says no injuries were reported among civilians or firefighters.
Those displaced are being assisted by the fire department's Special Services Unit.
The fire marshal's office is leading the investigation.
