Enfield Police are investigating the death of a 12-year-old girl whose body was found at a residence Wednesday morning.
A 911 call around 10:25 a.m. reported an unresponsive female person at 176 Elm Street.
Police found a 12-year-old girl dead inside the residence.
Connecticut State Police assisted Enfield Police in an investigation, including acting on a permit to conduct a full and complete review of the incident scene.
The Chief Medical Examiner's Office is conducting an autopsy on the girl's body. No cause of death was immediately apparent, according to a release from Police.
