Hamden police say a 15 year old boy was shot and killed Monday afternoon along a popular walking trail.
A report of shots fired at Farmington Canal Linear Park came in at about 2:30 pm. Responding officers found the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim's identity has not been released. Police call the case "an apparent homicide investigation."
