2 injured in weekend crash in Vernon

Vernon, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Vernon have released details about a weekend crash that left two people injured, including one critically.

Just after 1:00 Saturday afternoon, police say a 2021 Audi driven by 65-year-old Michael Fearon of Enfield collided with a 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by 77-year-old Nicholas Giudice of Manchester near 236 Hartford Turnpike, police said.

A passenger on the bike with Giudice sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Hartford Hospital where she's listed in critical but stable condition.

Giudice is in stable condition, also at Hartford Hospital.

Fearon and his passenger were not injured.

No charges have been filed at this time.

The investigation is being conducted by Vernon Police with assistance from Metro Traffic Services.

Any witnesses to the crash are being asked to contact police.
