Wethersfield, Conn. (WTIC Radio)-A body has been pulled from the Connecticut River, according to police.
Police said a caller alerted them to the body around 9:30 this morning. Police and area volunteer firefighters retrieved the body and transported it to Wethersfield Cove.
An investigation determined the body was that of a female. The identity and cause of death will be determined by the office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Wethersfield Police. The Department is conducting its own investigation.
