What is alleged to have happened behind the closed doors of the house of Kevin Grant
and Kaitlin Baptiste reads like an encyclopaedia of cruelty. The two parents, whose children range in age
from five to 11, were originally arrested two years ago on multiple charges of abuse. Now Grant
has been hit with more charges -- including forcing one child to eat his own feces, putting lit firecrackers
in one of the child's pants, beating one child until they could not walk, forcing them hit each other with a
bat covered with thumb tacks. Drinking hot sauce until ill. And through it all, making all the children watch. Grant has been released
by Waterbury Superior Court on a 50-thousand dollar bond.
