Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Access Health CT, the state's insurance exchange, is extending the deadline to enroll in coverage through the end of January.
For coverage beginning on February 1st, the deadline to enroll is now January 31st.
Customers can also renew coverage through that date.
The deadline was January 15th.
Changes at the state and federal levels mean the amount of financial assistance available and who's eligible have changed.
Access Health CT says it's working with the state on a plan to implement a subsidy program geared toward lowering costs for those who purchase insurance through the exchange.
