Prosecutors allege Kosuda-Bigazzi killed her husband, Pierlugi Bigazzi, who worked as a professor at UConn Health's School of Medicine in Farmington. He had been employed since 1975.

State Police opened the investigation into the larceny charge after learning about it from prosecutor's arguments.

Kosuda Bigazzi was charged with 1 Count of Larceny First Degree.

She was processed and released after posting a $125,000.00 court set bond and is scheduled for arraignment on 07/20/2021 at Hartford Superior Courthouse.
