HEBRON, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police are investigating a crash that seriously injured a woman in Hebron.
Troopers say around 4:58 p.m. on Monday, Susan Swiatek, 64, of Amson, failed to negotiate a left hand curve on Gilead Street / Route 85 and crossed over the double yellow solid lines in the 2011 Nissan Pathfinder she was driving and struck an oncoming 2011 Ford E350 Super Duty truck.
The Nissan spun out off the roadway and rolled over.
Swiatek suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and was taken to Hartford Hospital.
The driver of the Ford was taken to Windham Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
