Ansonia, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Police in Ansonia have charged a man in connection with the death of his wife.
Police on Wednesday said dispatchers heard a commotion but no response on the other end a 911 call just before 2:00 p.m. Tuesday.
When they arrived at the Root Avenue home, police Lieutenant Pat Lynch said they found Kamil Zielinski, 28, standing over his wife.
She was identified as Grace Zielinska, 34. Both are from Ansonia.
Police said the victim was suffering from severe upper body injuries.
She was rushed to Yale New Haven Hospital where she later died.
Two of the couple's three children were in the home at the time but were not harmed, Lynch said.
Zielinski is charged with murder.
Bond was set at $1 million. The investigation is continuing.
