ANSONIA, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Ansonia Police make an arrest in connection with a fatal domestic disturbance Tuesday.
Police responded to the report of a domestic disturbance on Root Avenue around 1:40 p.m. Tuesday.

The first officer on scene found a severely injured female inside the home. She was taken to an area hospital where she died from her injuries.
A man who was home at the time of the incident was arrested for his alleged involvement.
No names are being released at this time.
The incident remains under investigation.
