New Haven, Conn./WTIC Radio - Calling hours are set for this afternoon for a Yale University police officer who died last week.
Veteran officer Gregory Swiantek sustained a medical emergency last week while on the job and passed away.
Calling hours are from 4:00-to-7:00 p.m. today at the East Haven Funeral Home on Main Street in town.
Officer Swiantek's funeral will take place Wednesday at the Toyota Oakdale Theater in Wallingford beginning at noon.
Yale Police Chief Anthony Campbell has classifed Swiantek's as a line of duty death.
Officer Swiantek was a 17-year veteran of the Yale University Police Department.
