(Waterbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - An arrest has been made in a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian earlier this year in Waterbury.

Police are charging Trae Pratt, 21, of Waterbury.

It was May 18th that investigators say Pratt struck and killed Dwayne Hunter, 46, also from Waterbury.

Hunter was found on Chase Avenue and was transported to St. Mary's Hosital where he was pronounced dead.

Police determined Pratt fled the scene and issued a warrant for his arrest.

He turned himself in on Thursday.

Pratt faces charges of manslaughter, reckless driving, evading responsibility--death, and other offenses.

Bond was set at $1 million.
