West Haven, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in West Haven had their hands full when several fights broke out at the high school Wednesday morning.
Officers say they were called to break up the fights at West Haven High School between female juveniles.
While this was going on, officers say parents of two of the juvenile combatants showed up and began causing a disturbance.
A shelter in place was put in effect as police tried to restore order.
There were a total of five arrests, including three juveniles and two adult females.
The parents have been identified as Stephanie Hernandez, 36, and Raynaer Bamberg, 35, both from West Haven.
No weapons were involved but officers said the suspects threw eggs at each other.
Police said in a statement "this type of behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated."
