BERLIN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - The Berlin Police Department makes an arrest in the case of a stolen tractor trailer that was found burned on the side of a major highway.
Police say Jason Dennis, 45, of Milford, was arrested after a complicated investigation.
On March 31, officers say a brand new $300,000 tractor trailer was stolen from the Peterbilt Trucking lot in town.
It was later found with numerous parts removed from the vehicle and burned on I-91 in North Haven.
The investigation led to Dennis through New Haven Truck and Auto Body in East Haven, where a tractor trailer was fitted with numerous stolen parts.
Dennis is charged with larceny, burglary, and criminal trover.
Bond is $150,000.
