HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Hartford Police arrest a teenage man from the city in connection with a domestic-related shooting that critically injured a 16-year-old girl early Tuesday morning.
Police say their investigation led them to Jayzon Gunter, 18, of Hartford.
Probable cause was developed to secure an arrest warrant for Gunter on the charges of criminal attempt to commit murder, third-degree criminal attempt at strangulation, unlawful discharge of a firearm, and carrying a pistol without a permit.
Bond for Gunter is $2,000,000.
Police say the 16-year-old girl shot during the incident was critically injured. She's receiving care at a local hospital, where she is still in critical but stable condition.
