Killingly, Conn./WTIC Radio - State police are charging a woman in connection with a fatal shooting Monday night in Killingly.
Under arrest is Michelle Yeagher, 65.
Troopers got the call to a home on Pratt Road just before 9:30 Monday night.
When they arrived, they found the victim, Michael Olson, 39, of Canterbury unresponsive.
Yeagher was found in a bedroom and told police "he tried to kill me."
She also said she shot Olson when he came after her, adding she didn't know where the gun was when asked.
Yeagher is charged with murder and risk of injury. a 12-year-old boy was in the home at the time. bond was set at $2 million.
