Rocky Hill, Conn./WTIC Radio - An arrest has been made in a fatal assault and stabbing over the weekend in Rocky Hill.
Michael Ranger, 55, was located in upstate New York.
He is wanted in connection with the incident that took place at the Lexington Estates complex on Saturday.
Police have secured an arrest warrant charging Ranger with murder and violation of a standing criminal protective order.
Officers were dispatched to the scene shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Saturday on a report the victim was assaulted and stabbed.
She later died at an area hospital.
Arrangements are being made to extradite the suspect back to Connecticut.
The victim's identity has not been made public.
Police say the incident was domestic in nature.
