Glastonbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - A man is under arrest following a stabbing Sunday in Glastonbury.
The incident occurred at the Academy building on Main Street.
Police said Marcus McDaniel, was attending a gymnastics event at the site when an altercation broke out between the suspect and another individual.
McDaniel became enraged with the victim, who is known to McDaniel.
Officers said McDaniel stabbed the victim in the presence of children.
McDaniel turned himself in to Glastonbury police Sunday night.
He's charged with criminal attempt at murder, assault, breach of peace, and risk of injury to a minor.
Bond was set at $1,000,000.
