NAUGATUCK, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Naugatuck Police arrest a suspect in connection with the abuse of a Siberian Husky.

Police charge Emanuel Pizarro-Boria, 38, of Waterbury, in connection with the abuse of Justice.

Police say Justice was found in May with a chain embedded into its neck. Investigators believe the chain was in his neck for at least six months. The chain had to be surgically removed.

An anonymous tip led Police to Pizarro-Boria, when someone called to report the dog had been seen chained up in a shed.

Officials from Naugatuck say Justice is doing well and, pending the outcome of some legal issues, should be available for adoption before long.
