Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - An attempted street takeover Saturday in Hartford was a big fail after police moved in and made arrests.

Officers say around 6:00 p.m., a group of close to 100 ATVs at Greenfield and Woodland Streets were reported driving recklessly and causing hazardous conditions.

Officers from the North and South Street crimes divisions moved in to disperse the ATVs to differnet locations.

Five people were arrested and four ATVs were seized.

Police say a firearm was also recovered.

Two of those arrested, Wesley Santiago of New Britain and Angel Figueroa of Manchester were charged with reckless driving and other offenses.

The vehicles seized are now in Hartford Police impound lot.
