Bloomfield, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Bloomfield say someone robbed a Chase Bank branch in town Friday morning.
It was around 11:30 that detectives say a lone suspect entered the branch in the Copaco Shopping Plaza on Cottage Grove Road.
The suspect was armed with a handgun, police say, and dressed in a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a nylon mask.
He got away with about $1,000.00, police say.
Detectives say he got into a black Chevy Silverado, last seen speeding away westbound on Cottage Grove Foad.
