
Vernon, Conn./WTIC Radio - One of the two people killed over the weekend in a crash on Route 195 in Tolland was well-loved in the community.
Bryan Flint, 64, was killed Sunday afternoon when his vehicle collided with another driven by Amanda Bowen, 66, of Coventry.
She was also killed.
Two children sustained injuries.
Flint was deputy director of the Cornerstone Foundation, a Vernon-based non-profit that assisted those in need with food, clothing, and housing.
Vernon town administrator Michael Purcaro said "his legacy of public service to our community will be honored, respected and inspiring to others for years to come".
In a post on its Facebook page, the foundation said it is sadeened by Flint's death and that "our hearts are broken at his loss".
The crash remains under investigation.
It was one of several crashes that occurred over the weekend that involved fatalities.
