As Blumenthal sees it, the recent Taylor Swift ticket mess dates back to Ticketmaster's merger with Live Nation eleven years ago.
Now it's a monopoly, he says, and fans pay way too much.
Ticketmaster says it was just that Taylor Swift's popularity broke its website.
But with so much bad blood, Blumenthal wants a hearing in Congress, and a possible breakup.
