Lyme, Conn./WTIC Radio - Officials with the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection say a body was pulled from the Connecticut River Saturday in Lyme.
The find was made near the Chester-Hadlyme ferry around 1:00 by a vessel in the area, according to DEEP.
EnCon police, the State Police Major Crimes division and fire departments from Chester and Lyme responded.
They say the person was an adult male who appeared to have been in the water for some time.
The medical examiner will determine an exact cause of death.
