NEWINGTON, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Newington Police arrest a man in connection with an armed robbery at a Cumberland Farms on Christmas night.
Police say Dylan Martin, 32, of Bristol, walked into the Cumberland Farms on Cedar Street - Route 175 around 7:56 p.m., armed with a knife.
Newington Police officers and a K-9 tracked Martin to the CT Fastrak busway walkway on the line, when Martin saw police and tried to run away.
Officers and the K-9 were able to catch up with him, though, and take him into custody.
Martin is charged with second-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny, interference with an officer, and failure to pay or plea.
Bond is $50,000.
