Southington, Conn./WTIC Radio - In Southington, police are charging a man in connection with a stabbing at a town bar over the weekend.
They were called to the Groggy Frogg on Center Street a little after midnight on Saturday.
Jared Meadows, 24, of Bristol and several others were involved in an altercation in the parking lot.
That's where police say a 41-year-old man sustained a severe laceration to the torso.
He was treated at an area hospital.
Meadows was picked up a short distance from the scene.
He's facing charges of assault and breach of peace.
Bond was set at $250,000.
