HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Legal challenges are promised to the State's new law that repeals the religious exemption to school vaccinations.
The CT Freedom Alliance announces state and federal legal challenges to the bill.
Attorney Norm Pattis, outside the CT Supreme Court, says the legal team expects to have the challenges filed on Thursday, at the earliest.
Pattis says the challenge has the potential to reach the U.S. Supreme Court.
Connecticut is the 6th state in the country to ban the religious exemption.
The Connecticut law takes effect in September of 2022.
