Cleanup continues after tanker truck rolls over in Norfolk

Norfolk, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Cleanup continues in the town of norfolk after a tanker truck tipped over Saturday, spilling the entire load of 8,200 gallons of gasoline.

Officials say it could take days to clean the mess.

This, after the gas leaked into storm drains.

Right now, Route 44 remains closed from Loon Meadow to Maple Avenue.

Detours have been set up in the area.

The driver managed to get out of the truck.

There were minor injuries.
