A 61-year-old suspect did not get far after Plainfield, Connecticut, police say he threatened a cashier at the Walgreens on Prospect Street in the Moosup section of town.
Police say they arrested Richard Foux less than a mile away. They were looking for a man in a dark-blue hat with red lettering, and say they found their suspect sitting in the Music Lady Cafe in Plainfield.
Foux is being held on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned Monday at Danielson Superior Court.
