HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - A Connecticut man and local teacher has died in a skiing accident in Utah.
Unified Police of Greater Salt Lake in Utah say Daniel Negrelli, 53, of Canton, died in a skiing accident in Utah on Saturday.
Police they received a call reporting that Negrelli was unresponsive after having apparently crashed into a tree at Solitude Mountain Resort.
Despite reports he was wearing a helmet and proper gear, police say he could not be revived.
Negrelli taught at the A.I. Prince Technical High School in the Connecticut Technical Education and Career System.
