Danbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - A teenager is in critical condition after Danbury police say he shot himself Monday evening.
Officers were called to a building on Comstock Street around 9:30 p.m. on a report of gunshots.
The teenager was found unresponsive with a single gunshot wound to the head.
He was first taken to Danbury Hospital, then transported to Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment.
Police say it appears to have been an accidental self-inflicted gunshot.
The investigation is ongoing.
