Southington, Conn./WTIC Radio - The state Department of Consumer Protection has suspended the liquor license of a Southington restaurant that was the scene of a recent stabbing.

75 Center's suspension stems from a large fight on March 23rd that began inside the establishment and spilled outside.

Two employees sustained stab wounds to the head, neck and face.

Police Chief John Daly wrote in a letter to DCP that there've been no fewer than nine calls to 75 Center in the last year for a variety of incidents including overdoses, public intoxication and physical altercations.

DCP says 75 Center will remain closed until further notice.
