MERIDEN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Meriden Police report a dog has been found dead inside of a bag near the dog park near Hicks Avenue.
Police say the dog appeared to be 2-5 years old.
It was found inside of a bag without signs of injury or abuse.
A necropsy has been ordered but may take a few weeks to get results on the dog's death.
No other details in that case have been released.
A dead French Bulldog was found inside of a bag near a restaurant in Shelton earlier in the week. There's no word whether the cases may be connected.
