Rocky Hill, Conn./WTIC Radio - The investigation is continuing into a weekend vehicle break-in spree at a Rocky Hill apartment complex.

Officers say just around 6:00 Sunday morning, they received a call from a resident at Stepney Place Apartments about a burglary in progress.

Police noticed a white sedan in the parking lot and saw one of the occupants in the middle of breaking vehicle windows.

The person got in the sedan and sped away.

Police say they didn't give chase because property crime pursuits aren't authorized.

A total of 43 vehicles were broken into, most of which were locked.

The suspect broke windows to gain entry.

Anyone with any information on the crimes is asked to get in touch with Rocky Hill police Officer Nathan Thomas at 860-258-2057.
