Thompson, Conn./WTIC Radio - One person was injured and another arrested following a rollover crash in the town of Thompson Wednesday night.

State troopers say just before 9:00 p.m., a vehicle driven by Dylan McCaughey, 22, of Putnam was headed northbound on Interstate 395 by exit 50.

McCaughey and a passenger were out of the vehicle by the time police arrived.

They say during the course of their investigation, which suggested McCaughey was traveling over 100 mph, he became agitated.

Troopers said McCaughey exhibited signs of impairment but refused a field sobriety test.

As they attempted to arrest him, McCaughey allegedly resisted, requiring two troopers to cuff him.

Charges include operating under the influence, failure to maintain proper lane, and resisting.

He's free on $5,000 bond.

The passenger was treated for minor injuries.
