
Meriden, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Meriden are investigating after the city's World War I monument and honor roll were damaged Thursday evening.
Officials say a vehicle plowed over the memorial located near the intersection of Broad and East Main Streets.
Investigators say they found a portion of a headlight likely belonging to a white Ford F150 with the model year possibly being between 2018 and 2020.
A witness described seeing a vehicle matching that description leaving the scene and headed southbound on Broad Street in the direction of Wallingford following the crash.
