East Killingly, Conn./WTIC Radio -A man is dead after state police say he drove into a home Wednesday night in East Killingly.
State troopers say Matthew Sherman, 42, of Foster, Rhode Island hit the home on Hartford Pike just after 10:00 p.m.
Sherman hit several mailboxes and a sign before striking the home, according to police.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say Sherman failed to negotiate a curve prior to the crash.
No one was in the house at the time of the crash.
