OXFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police are investigating a deadly motorcycle accident in Oxford.
State Police from Troop A in Southbury responded around 3:24 p.m. Wednesday to the Route 188 and Silano Drive intersection in Oxford on the report of a crash.
That's where investigators say Michael Miller, 74, of East Haven, was riding a 2009 Harley-Davidson on Silano Road when the motorcycle entered the intersection with Route 188. Once in the intersection, police say John Fernandes, 21, of Oxford, struck him with his 2002 Chevrolet Silverado K1500.
Miller was pronounced dead at the scene.
