That part of the state is under a severe drought.

So the town is calling on residents to adhere to an odd/even schedule when it comes to watering.

Those whose address number ends in an even numeral can water on Sundays and Wednesdays from midnight to 10:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m. to midnight.

Residents whose address ends in an odd number can water on Saturdays and Tuesdays from midnight to 10:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m. to midnight.

Those with no address number should adhere to the even numbered schedule.

The mandatory twice-weekly irrigation schedule is in effect until further notice.
