Richard Dabate, who was convicted this year in the killing of Connie Dabate in 2015, was sentenced to 65 years in prison in Rockville Superior Court today.
The case drew national attention with Richard Dabate insisting throughout that an armed intruder killed Connie Dabate on December 23, 2015.
His alibi came undone when prosecutors noted that Connie Dabate's Fitbit device had tracked her movements at the same time her husband said she was killed.
