FAIRFIELD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Fairfield Police are investigating a shooting that injured a man.
The shooting happened on Fiske Street, between Johnson and Commerce Drives around 10:36 p.m. Sunday.
Officers on scene spoke to several residents who stated that while in their homes, they heard multiple “pops,” which they thought were gunshots.
A short time later, a male arrived at Bridgeport Hospital in a private vehicle with a single gunshot wound where he received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
Residents stated that after hearing the possible gunshots, two vehicles were seen leaving the area in opposite directions on Fiske Street.
