VERNON, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Vernon Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that happened Tuesday afternoon.
Responding officers found a male victim in cardiac arrest in front of 151 Phoenix Street around 3 p.m. The victim died at the scene of the crash.
The victim's identity is being withheld at this time but authorities say he was a Vernon resident.
Police are looking for the evading vehicle.
Anyone with video of the roadway from houses on Phoenix St, Church St, Warren Ave, Maple Ave, Washington St, Birch St, Lake St, Taylor St or any nearby neighborhood are asked to contact Vernon Police.
