Stamford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Stamford detectives are investigating a fatal hit-and-run from Saturday night.
Officers say just before 9:00 p.m., a 13-year-old was riding a mini-bike south on Courtland Avenue.
They say the teen and a family member, who'd been riding a scooter, pulled off to the side of the road.
That's when investigators say a vehicle struck the 13-year-old, sending him into the yard of a private residence.
Two neighbors performed CPR until medical personnal arrived.
The victim was rushed to Stamford Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say they're looking for a 2003 to 2007 silver Honda, possibly an Accord with significant front passenger side damage and a missing front bumper.
