Just before 5:00 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Boulevard and Whiting Lane.
Emergency personnel rendered aid to the victim, but police say the person sustained fatal injuries.
Investigators say the driver of the vehicle involved, thought to be a white sedan, left the scene of the crash.
