Ashford, Conn./WTIC Radio - An investigation is underway into the cause of a house fire late Wednesday in the town of Ashford.
The fire broke out after 11:30 p.m. at 40 Karosi Road.
There were no injuries.
Firefighters had a hard time of getting the blaze under control due to a lack of water in the immediate area.
It took about four hours for firefighters to get the blaze under control.
Firefighters from surrounding towns including Mansfield, Windham, Willington and UConn provided assistance.
