Ansonia, Conn./WTIC Radio - Firefighters in Ansonia had their hands full with a blaze in a multi-family home on Saturday.
The call went out just after 12:30 p.m. on a report of a smoke condition in a building on 6 Fifth Street.
Crews were met with heavy fire on the second and third floors in the rear of the structure.
The fire was brought under control with no injuries to firefighters or civilians.
The home has been deemed uninhabitable, fire officials said.
Firefighters from Derby, Seymour and Shelton provided mutual aid.
There's not word yet on a cause.
