
Manchester, Conn./WTIC Radio - A fire early Sunday morning at an historic home in Manchester left two people displaced and several cats dead.
The call came in before 1:00 a.m. to the structure at 139 Hartford Road.
All seven Manchester fire companies responded.
The fire went to a second alarm that brought in firefighters from East Hartford.
They had the blaze under control in under an hour.
No injuries were reported but the home is uninhabitable, according to fire officials.
The fire marshal's office is leading the investigation into how the fire started.
